but a study of the fine print shows: Only if both connected devices want 5 volts, then both sockets are supplied at the same time. For example, smartphone and headphones.

It is an unexplained mystery here why the Thinkpad accepts 5 volts from the Baseus Powerbank but refuses to accept 5 volts from this power bank. When I connect the smartphone and notebook at the same time, the USB-C meter shows 5 volts 0 amps to connect to the notebook.
