Panorama software PhotoStitch 3.1

The software delivered together with the Canon S1 did not perform well. The Venedig panorama is much circumcised. The Markus church without towers.

I assume that the camera - my old Canon Powershot G2 - was a little bit not straight mounted on the tripod. The professional PixAround software is able to correct the mistake, the Photo Stitch 3.1 software delivered with my Canon S1 forgives no failure and ruins unmercifully the panorama picture.

  368 Pixel away

The pictures are all in portrait format with 1600x1200. While PixAround looses only 130 pixel and shows 1470 pixel height in the finished panorama photo, PhotoStitch 3.1 cuts 368 pixel away. Only 1232 pixel height remaining, 238 Pixel more cut away decides about top or scrap. At the panorama software and the photographed panorama.
